I just finished up a video for the DART Center for Journalism and Trauma a couple weeks ago about how the Sacramento State Hornet newspaper staff covered an incidence of extreme violence on their campus. I used the 5d Mk ll for the vide shot. It was all shot in full 1080p. All the smooth transitions were [...] I was driving up Highway 5 with a truck full of stuff almost to Eugene on my way to Portland. This would be the last of our housewares, supplies, clothes and other furnishings to be plopped on our new hardwood floors. Just as I was admiring the start of twilight over the green Oregon mountains my [...] I thought making my way from Sacramento to Portland on 5 was going to be relatively uneventful. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful drives I’ve ever taken. About three hours in mountains started to appear in all their peaky glory.
